ClipMe is operated by CLIPME LLC (Miami, Florida, USA). This page describes exactly what we collect and what we do with it. We have tried to write it in plain language rather than boilerplate, and to describe our real systems rather than every theoretical thing a company might do.

What we collect

When you join the waitlist or request access, we store the email address you submit, and — only if you choose to provide them — a phone number, your streaming handle, and the short note describing your channel. We also record the referral code you arrived with (if any), the page you landed on, and the referring site, so we can tell which channels actually work.

When you submit a stream URL for a sample clip, we store that URL so we can process it and send you the result.

When you view a page, we increment a daily counter keyed to the page path and the referring domain. That counter is aggregate only: it contains no IP addresses, no user agents, no cookies, and no per-visitor identifier. We cannot tell from it that any particular person visited.

What we do not collect

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, cross-site trackers, or fingerprinting. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing. We do not buy contact data about you from anyone else.

Your IP address is used momentarily to rate-limit form submissions (to stop bots flooding the waitlist) and is not written to your stored record.

Why we collect it

To operate the beta: to place you in the waitlist queue, to send you your invite and the clips you asked for, to prevent abuse, and to understand which marketing channels bring real streamers so we can stop wasting effort on the ones that do not.

Who processes it

We use a small number of service providers, each of which processes data on our behalf: Vercel (website hosting), Upstash (database that stores the waitlist), Resend (transactional email delivery), and Vercel Blob (file storage). If we later enable product analytics, we will name the provider here before turning it on.

How long we keep it

Waitlist records are kept while the beta is running and while your account is active. Aggregate daily page counters expire automatically after 60 days. If you ask us to delete your data, we delete your record.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time by emailing info@clipme.com. We will action deletion requests without asking you to justify them. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under the GDPR, the UK GDPR, or the CCPA/CPRA; we honour those requests regardless of where you live.

Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops the email but keeps your place in the queue — tell us if you would rather be removed entirely.

Children

ClipMe is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, email us and we will delete it.

Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored with our providers named above. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise; if we ever discover a breach affecting your data, we will tell you.

Changes

If we change what we collect, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will be announced by email to people on the list.
